Campus Tours

We will be closed Wednesday, December 24 until Monday, January 5. We will have limited tours January 5-9 and January 12-14 due to winter break. Please call ahead to schedule a tour.

Monday through Friday
Beginning Thursday, January 15, tours will be offered Monday through Friday at 10 and 11 a.m., and 1, 2, 3, and 4 p.m. There are no tours at 11 a.m. on Thursdays.

Personal Interviews

A personal interview with a member of the admissions staff enables you to ask questions about Gettysburg College and tell us about your interests, accomplishments, and goals. Interviews generally last about 45 minutes. Your family is invited to join you at the end of the conversation to get answers to their questions. Interviews are offered starting April 1 of your junior year until mid-February of your senior year. Please call in advance to register ( 800-431-0803). 

Off-Campus Interviews

To meet students whose homes may be far from Gettysburg, the admissions staff conducts off-campus interviews in a variety of domestic and international locations every fall. Additional off-campus interviews will be available in January 2009.

Senior Preview Day

On Friday, January 23^rd, we will be offering a special program for high school seniors to get to know what it's like to be a student at Gettysburg. Presentations by current students, faculty and a break-out session for students and parents will be followed by a campus tour and lunch in our award-winning Dining Center. Registration will be held from 9-9:30am and the program will end at 1:15 p.m. Personal interviews will also be available that afternoon. Gettysburg 101: Information Session

Saturday information sessions will be held form 10-11 a.m. on January 17, 24 and 31; February 7 and 14 (with an additional 11 a.m.- 12 p.m. session on February 14).

Day and Overnight Visits

By shadowing a current student for a day or night, you will attend class, interact with faculty, and other students to gain a greater understanding of the Gettysburg Experience. Overnight visits will be offered January 22, February 1 and February 8 and typically begin at 4:30 p.m. at the admissions office and end in the early afternoon the following day. Day visits will be available January 26  through February 13 and typically begin at 9:30 a.m. and finish in the early afternoon. Online registration will be available in early January.
