Continuing Students

Continuing students who are applying for financial aid must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by April 15. The Federal Student Aid Programs should send students who completed a FAFSA during the previous year a Renewal Reminder e-mail. Students need to share this information with their parents. The Gettysburg College federal school code is 003268.

The student and parent will need their PINs in order to complete the Renewal FAFSA. If necessary the procedures for obtaining a new or duplcate PIN are available at http://www.pin.ed.gov.

If you prefer to complete the FAFSA by mail, a paper version can be obtained by calling the Federal Student Aid Information Center at 1-800-4-FEDAID.  Students may request up to three copies and should receive the FAFSAs in three to seven business days.

Copies of the federal tax returns for the student and parents along with a Verification Worksheet must be provided to the Office of Financial Aid by April 15.

NOTE: The Financial Aid PROFILE is not required for continuing students.

Due to Satisfactory Academic Progress verification requirements, we will not begin mailing awards until after we are able to review spring grades.
