• Opening Day Lounge
  Specifically for parents and other family members! 
  Now that the heavy lifting is done and you've moved your students into their residence halls, it's time to relax. Come lounge in the living room of Norris-Wachob Alumni House, where we will provide a quiet place for you to sit, get a cup of coffee and other snacks, read newspapers, and take a breather.
  Location: Norris-Wachob Alumni House
  Time: 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.  and 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.

• Opening Day Volunteers
  We need you for . . .
  Move-In!
  Join with Gettysburg College faculty, staff, students, and alumni and assist as students unload their belongings and move into their residence halls. This is truly a Gettysburg College community activity. You will receive continental breakfast and a t-shirt. Interested?   Location: Outside the First-Year Residence Halls
  Time: Shifts are from 7:30-9:30 a.m. and 9:00-11:00 a.m.

Attend a Send-Off!  

Every summer, Gettysburg College hosts regional Send-Offs to welcome the incoming class and to connect past, present, and future Gettysburgians. Hosted by alumni, current parents, and past parents (and sometimes a combination thereof!), our Send-Offs are an ideal way for new Gettysburg students and their families to meet other each other as well as alumni, current students and parents, and staff.
