Abraham Lincoln: A Man of His Time, A Man for All Time
The Civil War Institute and Musselman Library will host an exhibit entitled "Abraham Lincoln: A Man of His Time, A Man for All Times" in Musselman Library from October 17th - November 20th.
The exhibit explores the fundamental questions of Lincoln's life, including: how a self-educated lawyer with little administrative experience guided a divided nation through the crises of secession and Civil War. The exhibit is divided into six sections, beginning with Lincoln's early life and rise to the White House, and concluding with Abraham Lincoln's legacy and relevance today.
This exhibit is sponsored by the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History, the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Civil War Institute at Gettysburg College and is endorsed by the Pennsylvania Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission.
